Our Harrogate shop has a new home
...and we finally have our signs up!
We have moved our Harrogate shop to bigger premises. We are now at 47 Cold Bath Road.
We started our little Harrogate shop on the other side of Harrogate on Grove Road, HG1. We rented space in an antiques shop/café and for a while, it served us perfectly and allowed us to test a concept before taking the plunge into a bigger place.
Lockdown Trading...
During lockdown, we worked hard on our supply chain to ensure we could keep up with the demand basics such as flour, lentils, rice and other essential groceries. Over time trade began to dip and we realised that something had to change. For lots of reasons, we felt our shop at Grove Road just wasn’t working for us.
Next steps
We decided to take the plunge and look for a full shop and we decided on Cold Bath Road which has a very similar feel to the area where our Leeds shop is. Cold Bath Road is full of independent business and shops and has a lovely community vibe.
Double-sided shopping...
We’ve moved into a double shop and the right-hand side as you enter is our cleaning refills, skincare and household products. The left-side through the corridor is our food refill and grocery room. In here you can find our brand new chiller, loose natural foods, herbs and spices and ethical groceries.

Our small team with big hearts...
Lydia continues to be part of our team but Jude, who ran the shop on Sundays and Mondays, has relocated to Malton. You will still see Jude from time to time though. We have taken on another Harrogate local, Lynne, to cover busier periods.
