Making a smaller-scale Christmas extra-special
We’re all getting used to the idea that Christmas this year will look quite different to any that we’ve experienced - and probably to any Christmas celebrations that have taken place over the last 2020 years!
Whilst we plan Christmas dinners that may be a little smaller this year, there’s all the more reason to bring your containers to us and only buy as much food as you need, rather than the big packets that may be available at larger retailers.
And for our loved ones who we’ll be missing on Christmas day, many of us are racking our brains for items that are easy to post - so we thought we’d show you a few of our favourite products which people have been popping in parcels this month.
Locally blended and hand-packed in Harrogate, these speciality teas and blends are absolutely delicious - and light enough that postage won’t cost much! We’re selling a few of their festive blends, as well as standard English breakfast and Earl Grey both pre-packaged and loose. We've got a great relationship with Matt from True Tea so if there is a specific tea you'd like to order just let us know.
The response when we started selling Tony’s Chocolonely earlier this year has been overwhelming! Not only does it taste great, you can buy it with a clear conscience as the team at Tony’s are committed to making chocolate which is 100% ethical. Plus, the packaging looks special enough to be a really special parcel arriving on the doormat!
Uno soap bars
With their swirly patterns and beautiful fragrances, these soaps often catch people’s eyes as they walk into the shop. We love these chunky bars them because they’re so versatile - they can be used as shampoo and shave bars as well as regular hand and body soap. They look and feel like a real treat and are perfect to slip into a special package for someone this Christmas.
This year we’re selling low-cost gift boxes for you to fill with goodies (see header image), as well as our 100% biodegradable packing material. We’ve chosen them to be the perfect size to fit some of our larger products like our lovely Blueberry Hill jams chutneys and Stickey’s beeswax candles, but still come under Royal Mail’s small parcel category - so it’ll only cost you £2.95 to post (unless you cram it so full that it weighs over 2kg!). Pick a box and fill it.
